Audi lanceert holografische virtuele assistent

Audi lanceert Australia’s eerste ‘Holographic Virtual Assistant’. In het Audi Centre in Sydney, Rosebery, verschijnt zij levensgroot en om gerichte berichten te versturen. Hieronder het gehele persbericht.

Australia’s number one Out-of-Home Digital media company today launched the country’s first ever lifesize ‘Holographic Virtual Assistant’ at Audi Centre Sydney, Rosebery. Designed to facilitate enhanced communication and customer experience, the Virtual Assistant demonstrates PDM’s expertise in delivering highly engaging, specialist digital content and technology. It also highlights Audi’s ongoing commitment to business innovation.

The Holographic Virtual Assistant comes in the form of a lifesize, virtual installation with the holographic effect created using 3M’s dynamic Vikuiti™ rear projection film and rear mounted video projector technology. With the unique characteristics of the Vikuiti™ film and PDM’s expert digital content capabilities, PDM have transformed a 10 mm thick piece of perspex into a virtual, talking person.

The Holographic Virtual Assistant provides Audi with an exciting and unique platform to promote targeted messages to customers whilst they visit the dealership and offers customers an entertaining way to gather product knowledge and information about Audi’s offering.  The result is a customer experience seen nowhere else in the country.

Nu is het nog een sprekend persoon, straks zal de brand agent van Audi vooral goed kunnen luisteren. Dan heb je haar eerst thuis ontmoet, eerst via de PC, later de PC en nog later ook holografische, en loopt de dialoog met merk via een brand agent als deze dame gewoon door. Alsof het de normaalste zaak van de wereld is. Dit is een stapje in die richting.

Had van de week nog wel zelf langsgewild met camera (ik woon sinds kort ook in Sydney), maar je bent me voor grin
