Golden ear speakers with diamonds
Norwegian designer Thomas Heyerdahl sells iDiamond ear, 18 carat golden ear speakers with 204 tiny diamonds. It goes for $6,400 (en). Technology disappears, and everything we still carry on our body becomes some kind of jewelery. Like the glasses, a mobile phone, or a watch, the ear speaker also is completely refreshed. Soon ear speakers will be wireless, and then they will also let other sounds come through. We then will start wearing them permanently. Either completely hidden, very deep in our ear, or the opposite: clearly visible, like this type of ear speakers.
Mobile phone recognizes hand gestures
Avatar gives commands on mobile phone
Chinese company InterGrafx has developed an 3d avatar for the mobile phone, which updates you on incoming calls, e-mails, text messages, planned meetings, and other reminders (mc. Dutch). Interaction and written text make place for speech and image. Exactly what humans are made and optimized for. Since we now have the technical possibilities (which become better and better), it will absolutely go this direction.
Mobile phone with built-in finger print reader
Nokia filed a patent for reading finger prints directly via touchscreen (mc, Dutch). This way screens can be bigger on a mobile phone, as no extra room is needed for a separate reader. Technology disappears, screens are left. So that brands can recognize us, and directly pick up the dialogue again. This patent lays the foundation for that future.
Insignificance of the earth
With all our consciousness, intelligence, emotional intelligence, even spiritual intelligence, humanity has forever left the animal kingdom. We control our own future. So we have to do something about global warming. After all, we're responsible!
But maybe you should see the earth as a big ball of energy and people as microscopic flames that light up for a moment and then die (be born and die). And that all those small flames heat up other energy sources. Like stars that shoot their sparks everywhere. Often without any influence, but sometimes a single spark can start a huge fire. And maybe there are so many flames (up to 9 billion people) created because the earth is heating up (there are already more flames) instead of the other way around. Not through better health care, more safety or better food. That's our rationalization of the whole.
Maybe it's wired differently from ho we believe. Than we hope perhaps. If we look at it from energy, from the size of the universe, we see the insignificance of the earth, and the insignificance of human beings. Below the grandness of the earth in a shitty perspective.
